Dog Cockles Lamp Shade 20cm
Seashell Lamp shade with Dog Cockles on Teal turquoise. The linen fabric has been printed with my original Dog Cockles design, and is totally unique. The background colour is Teal/turquoise. If you would like different colours to suit your home decor, please ask.
Dog Cockles linen cushion
My Dog Cockles illustration printed onto linen and made into a cushion.
A duck feather cushion pad is included, however if you would like an alternative to feather, for example a hypoallergenic pad, please let me know when placing the order.
Size: 40cm x 40cm (16in x 16in)
Each cushion is made by me, and is therefore unique – it may vary slightly from the photograph shown.
The Dog Cockles look like they have been hand painted by the sprites of the sea, each one is unique and tessellated with irregular orange shapes through to blue and brown stripes. They are also called Amande de Mer in French (almond of the sea) The strandline is where the sea meets the sand, and I love beachcombing for interesting shells and pebbles amongst the flotsam and jetsam which is washed up.

Arthur and Olive surfing couple print Framed
Surf art Arthur and Olive is one of the prints in my Vintage Surf range of illustrations.
Inspired by my family’s history of surfing in Perranporth in Cornwall, by family photos of my grandparents on the beach when they were young, and by the annual World Belly Boarding Championships which take place in Chapel Porth in Cornwall.
Perfect wedding or anniversary gift idea, can be personalised with your own special message.
Cornish Chough print
Cornish Chough art print. Palores Kernewek is the Cornish language translation of Cornish Chough.
The Cornish Chough is a traditional symbol of Cornwall in the United Kingdom, even though the birds themselves were extinct in Cornwall until 2001 when they reappeared to nest on the clifftops. You can now see them on the cliffs of The Lizard, and some parts of North Cornwall.
St Piran’s Pebbles art print from Cornwall
St Piran’s Pebbles art print. My original copyrighted illustration was inspired by the quartz veined pebbles from Fistral Beach in Newquay. The pebbles remind me of the black and white cross on St Piran’s flag. St Piran is the patron saint of tin miners in Cornwall.
Olive Augusta Surf Girl print
Best seller Olive Augusta is one of my designs from my Vintage Surf set of illustrations. This print would make the ideal gift for someone who loves the water, whether it is swimming in the sea, or ponds, or lidos, or surfing with traditional wooden boards. Belly boarders love this print, and I’m often told that they had a hat like this flowery swim hat, or that they still have their wooden boards in the garage that they learnt to surf with.
My grandmother was called Olive Augusta, and although I don’t have a photo of her in a flowery swim hat, I like to think that she would have protected her perfectly coiffed hair in something very beautiful and rubbery against the salty seawater!
