The fabric has been printed in the UK with my original Fennel and Sparrow design. (This fabric matches my Fennel mugs which were designed way back in 2014 – let me know if you have one).
My designs are inspired by living in Cornwall, walking along the coastline and the unique Cornish hedgerows, foraging for season treats, fishing and growing fruit and veg.
In my old house I had a large Fennel bush in the garden, and sparrows used to perch on the frondy branches to pick off the insects attracted by the aniseed scented yellow flowers, and the seeds in autumn once the Fennel had finishing flowering.
This cushion would be perfect for a gardener or someone who loves flowers as much as I do!

From my Coastal Garden Flowers range of illustrations, Verbena bonariensis is one of my favourite plants. Bouquets of tiny pink purple flowers on tall spindly stems attract butterflies and bees throughout the summer and early autumn.
