Special colour ways for lampshades
If you like a design but the colour scheme doesn’t fit with your decor, I can adapt my design and change the background colour. Just get in touch via email alison@alisonbick.co.uk and I can create a mock up to email you to help visualise.
What type of lamp holders will fit this lampshade?
A Converter/Reducer Adaptor plug is supplied fitted to reduce the aperture so it can fit UK lamp holders or remove the adapter to make it fit larger European lamp holders.
Lampholder Types:
B22 Bayonet Cap Lampholders (UK) – Adaptor Fitted
E14 Edison Screw Lampholders (EU) Adaptor Fitted
E27 Edison Screw Lampholders (EU) Adaptor Removed
E26 Edison Screw Lampholders (US) Adaptor Removed
Without the adapter the internal diameter is 4cm 1.5in. This is a standard size for most lampshade fittings.
There is also a US filial style lamp fitting, get in touch if you would like your lampshade to be fitted with this.
Shipping
There is free P&P on all lampshades. I send out my lampshades via Parcelforce24 or First Class Royal Mail.
Delivery Time Scales
Please allow at least three weeks dispatch time for lampshade orders. This is because my fabric is printed to order and I make each lampshade by hand, and this allows me to manage my order book. If you do have a particular hurry for an order, please get in touch and I will always try to do what I can to get your order out earlier.
Refunds and Replacements before 30 Days
If your lampshade arrives and it isn’t right, then please get in touch by email alison@alisonbick.co.uk and we can arrange the return or a replacement. On the rare occasion it is my fault that the order isn’t correct (wrong colour or wrong size) then I’ll pay for the return of the shade. If the lampshade is as ordered, then I will expect you to pay for the return postage. The lampshade must be carefully packaged and returned in the same box to reduce the potential of the shade being damaged on return.

Lampshade Sizes
My standard lampshade diameter sizes are 20cm, 30cm and 40cm. If you require a larger size, please get in touch and I can create a bespoke order for you. Generally these are 45cm or 50cm diameter.
My Designs on Fabric and Wallpaper
Sometimes my customers would like to make curtains or cover furniture or wall paper to match their lampshades. I can sell the fabric by the metre, it is Half Panama 230gsm and I can adapt my designs to fit specific size requirements and half drops etc. I have also had wallpaper printed for special bespoke orders. This is strictly for personal use however, I do not sell my fabric for re-sale or made into anything for re-sale (unless it is to the curtain maker or wallpaper applier)
Fabric Samples
Sometimes colours on photos on the internet will look different depending upon which screen they are viewed on. If you are not sure that the lampshade will match your decor, let me know via email and I’ll send you a fabric sample so you can check it before purchasing.
