Lampshade Making Workshop at my Studio 117, in Krowji creative hub, Redruth, Saturday 14th September 2024 – 10.30am to 1.30pm
Learn how to make a 30cm lampshade using my fabric designs. You can choose which design – but if you would like a particular design please let me know at the time of booking, otherwise I will have a selection of designs printed ready for you to choose when you arrive.
A small and friendly group, this will be a fun session making your own lampshade. I will show you tips and tricks on how to get a professional look, and at the end of the workshop session you will take home an Alison Bick Designs lampshade – made by you!
The Fabric:
I will have a selection of designs already printed for you to choose from.
What Time:
Start at 10.30am and will take approximately 3 hours. There are only three places available on this workshop.
What is included:
All the components you will need to make a 30cm diameter shade.
Fabric which has been printed with my designs*.
Tea/Coffee and cake/biscuits
Venue:
The workshop sessions will take place at my studio in the Percy Williams building at Krowji in Redruth.
Important Bits:
Cancellation: In the situation that you have to cancel your place, I will refund 50% of the fee up to one week prior. If I manage to fill your place, then I will refund you the total amount.
What happens after you book your place:
Once you have paid for your place, you will receive an email notification from me confirming the booking. I will email you to give you directions to my studio at Krowji, to ask if you have any dietary requirements, my mobile number in case you need it, and also if you have a specific request for which design you would like to choose.
*This workshop is not suitable for anyone wanting to bring their own fabrics, but I’m happy to point you in the direction of other possible workshops!
