The linen fabric I use to make my shades has been printed in the UK with my Paperwhite Narcissus illustration.  Working from my home in Cornwall, I make all my lampshades to order.

Bold bright florals which bring the outside indoors and give a cheerful accent to 2021 interiors.

For Mother’s Day I took my mum to Caerhays Castle and Gardens in Cornwall, to see the wonderful collection of ancient magnolia trees. This garden is only open for a short few weeks in Spring, and it was a real delight and treat.  My new design is inspired by our visit – looking up at the trees with the blooms outlined against the Cornish blue sky.

My designs are inspired by living in Cornwall, walking along the coastline and the unique Cornish hedgerows, foraging for season treats, fishing and a love for flowers. You can tell that Spring is really on the way when the creamy white blossom starts to appear on the dark branches of the Blackthorn trees. In late Summer early Autumn, we head out to pick the sloe berries on Cornish hedgerows to make our Christmas sloe gin.
