Ty Auricula Theatre illustration has been printed onto half panama cotton fabric. The bold floral graphics stand out against the dark blue background colour. I make all my lampshades myself by hand, from my base in Cornwall.

Bold bright florals which bring the outside indoors and give a cheerful accent to 2021 interiors.
This year we have been building our garden from scratch, and one of the features I’m planning for 2021 is an Auricula Theatre. These flowers are so intricate and pretty, and I love the graphic and floral display of the plants in terracotta pots and placing onto a painted shelf outdoors in the garden. The flower heads are so delicate, and the plants are very fussy – they don’t like direct sunshine or rain, so gardeners and Auricula fans have traditionally displayed their beautiful plants in a shaded shelf.
For fans of the Auricula Theatre, who would love a display all year round, I’ve designed and made this lampshade with a permanent and un-fussy Auriculas to enjoy indoors all year round.
