Bunting garland with Orange tape
19 flags, 3 metres in length total, these flags measure 14cm wide by 14cm height.
The flags are double sided, with the fabric cut into triangles and sewn right sides together so that no stitching is visible.
Each bunting garland that I make is totally unique, the bunting flags are made with remnant fabric that I usually use to make lampshades with. I wanted to reduce my fabric stash, so I thought that making bunting would be a perfect use!
The fabric which has been printed with my floral illustrations is half panama cotton, and will wash in a cold wash. (I would put it into a washable bag to avoid the ties getting caught in the washing machine drum).
Like most bunting, I don’t think that the cotton will be suitable for permanent outdoor use, but it will make a very attractive feature in a summer garden.
